Default Todays big news

I have trade in the USD pair and usually trade with an automated system in MT4.

Today, should I disable the system? I have mean big news events days, like when the Fed steps in and cuts the FF rate 3/4 of a point?

This is clear that the volatility implications for the markets of Fx. So i would it be prudent to disable my system and i have wait for sometime for smoother sale ?

I have use the Avonko system successfully and it trades overnight, so today not any problem, but I'm thinking I have take rest tonight while the market catches its high.

what you have think about it.

i think trading a small account like kiwi is brilliant. 1 mini lot is just 1$ per pip on most pairs so it takes some of the sting out of mistakes. i opened a live account because i got so bored with demo accounts.
