The Indian Rupee weakened against the dollar after hitting a 23-day high of 42.39 at 11:10 pm ET Thursday. The rupee fell to 42.8850 within half an hour. The dollar-rupee pair closed yesterday's New York session at 42.59.

This may effect on the industries which are depends mostly on import and beneficial for the organizations which are in export field.
