Well, I would start my FCM. It only needs $250,000 to start. I would invest another $500,000 in building the business: recruiting, establishing business relationship with investment banks, office supplies, another $250,000 as emergence fund. Because no business makes money in the first year. It's really a lucrative business.

Start a company is much work. Invest $500,000 in a small profitable company, throw $300,000 to 3 good money managers and put down $150,000 payment to my house. $10,000 on a nice vacation and $20,000 on a new car and $20,000 random spending

Well, 1 mil is does not weight as before. In some places, you can barely use that as a down payment for a house. Stock market is too risky, this country is too derivatives driven. I need a bottle a wine and a filed of green. I will take a very very very long vacation to Europe and retire in a eastern asia. Cheers everyone...let's not gve up our hopes

With a million dollars I would go on a business with Charter. An FCM sounds fund.

You got to be in the right location and have the right market in mind.

First of all I'd pay off all my student loans. Then buy a house. I'd invest the in forex and bonds... I'd certainly travel some more!

Start a new company like Hugh Hefner in the 80's and die happy watching 20 year olds playing beach volley ball in their bikinis, while I smoke a pip in my silk robe.

Right on FXStreetwalk01, that's the life style. This is by far the most creative reply I've seen in this form. It is definitely viable
