Cool Whats your favorite Indicator

Hi All,

Im still learning but have trading acct already. Whats your comonly used Indicator?

I want to learn more advanced tech analysis, what book do you recommend for reading. I want to learn MACD, Fivonacci but not the complicated EW theory.

The most widely used indicator has to be moving averages. Many analysts apply simple moving average (14, 200) to their charts. Other popular studies include MACD, fibonacci studies. Parobolic SAR is an interesting one. But none of the mentioned studes can be used alone. It is better to use a combination of them to determine the market trend. Also pay attention to the fundamentals as well. If you are right more than 50%, then you are genius.

I guess I'll step out of the box here, but I love using intraday channels and waiting for the breakout after some sort of news announcement. Fantastic.
